FAQs

Is this actually easy for kids to fly?

Yes. The altitude hold function means it hovers automatically once airborne, so you're not constantly fighting to keep it level. One-button takeoff and landing removes the hardest part. Most 8-year-olds get the hang of it within minutes.

How long does it really fly before needing a charge?

Each battery gives you 10-13 minutes. Since you get 2 batteries, that's over 20 minutes total. Charge one while flying with the other—no waiting around.

Will it break the first time it crashes?

The metal body is built for impacts. The blades are flexible plastic that bends instead of snapping. We've seen these survive dozens of crashes. It's tougher than it looks.

Can we fly multiple helicopters at the same time?

Absolutely. The 2.4GHz system prevents interference, so friends or siblings can fly their own helicopters together without signal issues.

Does it work indoors or just outside?

Both. It's stable enough for indoor flight in larger rooms, and powerful enough for outdoor use. The LED lights make it easy to track in any lighting condition.

Got this for my 9 year old and honestly I've been flying it more than him. The altitude hold is legit, it just sits there in the air. Battery life is solid with the two included. Already crashed it like 6 times and still works perfect.

My nephew loved it for his birthday! The metal body really does hold up. He's not the most careful kid and it's survived some pretty rough landings. The LED lights at night are super cool too.

Good helicopter for the price. My only issue is it drifts a bit to the right but the trim buttons fix it. Flight time is about 11-12 minutes per battery which is pretty good. Kids are having a blast with it.

This is WAY easier to fly than the cheap one we had before. The auto hover feature is a game changer. My 10 year old figured it out in like 5 minutes and now flies it around the backyard constantly.

Bought this from Joylab and it arrived quick. The quality surprised me honestly, the metal feels sturdy. We've been flying it indoors on rainy days and outside when it's nice. The one button landing is perfect because my son used to struggle with crashing on purpose lol.

Pretty fun toy. The altitude hold works well most of the time. Had one battery that didn't last as long as the other but still decent overall. Would recommend for beginners.

My 12 year old has been wanting a drone but I got him this first to practice. He loves it! The gyroscope keeps it really stable and the range is impressive. We flew it at the park and it went really far. Great starter helicopter.

I bought 2 of these and me and my son fly them together. The 2.4ghz works great, no interference at all. Really fun father son activity. Charging is fast too.

This thing is tougher than expected! My son crashed it into a tree on day 2 and it still works perfectly. The flexible blades definitely help. Battery swap is super easy which keeps the fun going. Worth every penny.

Good quality RC helicopter. Takes a few flights to get used to the controls but after that its smooth. The LED lights are brighter than I thought theyd be. Only complaint is remote needs batteries that arent included but no big deal.

Perfect gift! Got this for my nephew's 11th birthday and he's obsessed. The altitude hold makes it so much easier for him to control. He's already gotten pretty good at flying it around obstacles. Definitely recommend from Joylab!
